5 Cool Branded Merchandise Ideas for 2024

As we step into the final weeks of July, I find myself reflecting on the exciting projects I’ve had the privilege to work on throughout 2024 and the unforgettable branded products we’ve developed.

The journey through these projects has reaffirmed one crucial insight: the best ideas often stem from the humble brainstorming session. When we unite as a team to collaborate, whether we’re helping our clients promote a new brand, plan an engaging conference, or organise a memorable event, our collective efforts have led to some cool branded merchandise ideas.

Read on to learn more about my standout projects of this year and celebrate the power of teamwork and collaboration that made them possible.

Viral Cup Dupe

These thermal-insulated cups are a fantastic alternative to the viral Stanley cups that have recently taken the social media world by storm. The definition of cool, they can keep your drinks cold for 24 hours or hot drinks hot for 12.

These cups have a super sleek design and very flexible branding options, making them an ideal addition to our client’s onboarding packs and retail merchandise offerings. They’ve been so popular, and we can’t see their popularity slowing any time soon.

Sider Hoodie

I love this product and its design. The Sider Hoodie, with its innovative features and sustainable materials, has quickly become a favourite in my wardrobe. Unlike a typical hoodie, the sider hoodie boasts a unique side pocket that sits neatly at the side, providing a sleek and practical alternative to the standard front pouch. I find it sits nicer on the body and keeps your essentials safe without the extra bulk.

Made from 85% organic cotton and 15% recycled polyester, this product is also one that helps our clients meet their sustainability goals. Choosing products crafted from organic cotton reduces the environmental footprint and makes it an ideal choice for our eco-conscious clients.

Le Creuset Aprons

This was a personal favourite, perhaps because my wife is loyal to the brand so it’s something we have in the house. But I thought it came out stunning with branding and at a price point that was around the retail price, including branding!

When creating this, the team were careful to create a product that was dual-branded subtlety to not lose the premium feel of the product.

Custom Tote

A custom tote is always a standout piece! My first project was the Markel tote, and now I’m excited to share a more recent creation for Hogan Lovells.

This tote is fully bespoke and designed with meticulous attention to detail from the inside out. The hidden features truly set it apart—Pantone-dyed fabric, custom sizing, zippers, pockets, and bespoke handles all contribute to its unique character. It’s a versatile product that can be tailored to fit any need.

We’ve designed this project to be as large as necessary to hold a cleaner’s bucket (yes, literally) and as compact as needed to carry just a purse and a passport.

Rains Rolltop

Again another favourite and this time produced for G Research, a data analytics and algorithm firm that has grown at a phenomenal speed building the world’s #1 employer brand. This was a product that the team loved and were tempted to over-produce on the samples!

A waterproof product that is as durable as it is beautiful.

In fact, we produced a few extra units for our sales team to showcase to clients. If you’d like to see one of these beautiful bags, feel free to reach out here.

Working on branded merchandise projects like these is incredibly rewarding. Each project presents an opportunity to innovate and create something truly unique.

From the initial concept to the final product, the journey of bringing these custom pieces to life is always exciting. Whether it’s a versatile tote or another creative endeavour, the possibilities are endless, and the results are always gratifying.
