Irwin Mitchell has an established international office network covering 14 offices across the UK. The firm employs over 2,800 staff including over 1,300 legal trained personnel and has helped over 1 million clients in its 104-year history. Irwin Mitchell is the 11th largest law firm in the UK and amongst the top 50 in Europe. We started working with Irwin Mitchell in January 2017 after the firm reviewed its brand collateral purchases and wanted to bring together both print and merchandise to serve its marketing and events teams’ needs.
We held Irwin Mitchell’s stock in storage, and each office used our web-to-print ordering system, where they could place orders for next-day delivery. With a busy schedule of around 400 events each year, Irwin Mitchell needed to ensure high-quality on-brand print and branded merchandise were available in rapid timescales across its network of offices and event venues. This is particularly important when events are on, as busy staff members are often last on site, have very few resources and need collateral ‘there and then’.
To meet the challenge, we created a tailor-made solution, taking on existing branded stock and adding valuable pick, pack, fulfilment and returns procedures that would meet our client’s needs. The solution meant that users could view a live stock of items on an online portal, and call-off or place new production orders as and when required.
Our client was looking for innovative and unique corporate merchandise ideas. They also wanted a more flexible promotional products supplier that could answer the needs of their business. Partnering with Streamline allowed their users to order stock items until 12 noon and get a national next day delivery before 9.30am. We were also able to facilitate Irwin Mitchell’s specific needs by making bespoke changes to the online ordering system to ensure we account for any return of stock items.
We work closely with the IBA to refine and perfect products that exceed expectations and reflect the true values of the brand. Items such as bespoke packaged USBs have been delivered to London, colour matched luggage scales to Washington, sunscreen to Sydney and pens to Sao Paulo. No item is out of reach, and no location is too far away.
