Our partnership with Sunbelt Rentals began in 2019 with the business’s rebrand from A-Plant to Sunbelt Rentals. Sunbelt Rentals is a huge brand with a total of 190 depots and 3500 team members. Through supplying Branded Merchandise, Branded Clothing and PPE Streamline was able to help support through every step of the process in replacing a previously well-known brand with a brand new one.
It is Sunbelt Rental’s ambition to make every one of its people feel like a valued member of the team, from the moment they join the business. Onboarding merchandise packs have become a key part of their recruitment process. These onboarding packs have been very well received with lots of positive feedback on social media. New starters, before they even begin work, are publicly declaring that they can’t wait to start with such an amazing company.
Every new start is treated the same way; a message direct from the CEO packed with a branded water bottle, cap, pen, notebook, pen, and a pack of branded sweets – all wrapped up in a Sunbelt Rentals branded box.

Another large part of the partnership is providing staff uniforms and workwear. Sunbelt Rentals has invested in a bespoke custom-made branded uniform using its brand colours and comfortable Cooltex fabric to ensure that every employee, even in the most challenging part of their role can feel safe and comfortable. In their offices, the team wears the company smart/casual uniform too – and it’s not unusual to see senior managers in a Sunbelt Rentals polo shirt or branded soft shell jacket.
An important step in the process was a staff clothing consultation. Streamline held collaborative workshops with representatives from all parts of the business to make sure everyone had the opportunity to ensure their specific requirements were understood and met. With ‘rails’ of branded samples the team had the opportunity to ensure that the company’s No. 1 asset (its people) was rightly portrayed in the new brand image. Coupled with this, employee satisfaction and comfort were always a priority as Sunbelt Rentals understands that its people are its future.
The uniform is consistent through 190 depots and their staff members throughout the UK, all ordered by managers at depot level online and delivered to that address to make it easy. A full range of quality products is available from corporate uniforms, Hi Vis & PPE with the speed of service ‘key’ due to the high-risk nature of the environments worked in.
